This twice-annual convening of our entire membership provides a space to share updates on the state of the sector, and share a range of ideas relevant to arts and cultural work. Our spring meeting will feature:

Discussing issues and solutions for the challenges faced by independent artists, with Christine Kuan (Creative Capital) and Cezanne Charles (rootoftwo).

A roundtable on the state of arts journalism featuring, Kim Heron (Kresge Foundation), Micah Walker (Bridge Detroit), Duante Beddingfield (Detroit Free Press), Ed Moore (Detroit Public TV), Paul Schutt (Issue Media Group), Jerome Vaughn (WDET), and a fellow from the U-M Wallace Center for Journalism.

A presentation on the role of arts and culture in growing Michigan's population, featuring Christian Greer (Michigan Science Center), Chris Moyer (Visit Detroit), Andrea Scobie (Gilbert Family Foundation), Kelly Zemke (The Henry Ford), and Doug Noonan and Joanna Woronkowicz (AEI Lab at Indiana University).
Breakfast will be served. Event is free for CultureSource members, partners, and grantees; $25 for non-members. Keep an eye on your inbox for further event details, location, parking information, and panelists.
