BAI Application Luncheon

We are very excited to be hosting the second year of the CultureSource Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) in June 2025. As we launch our application period, our team would like to bring together CultureSource partners and local organizations with a commitment to youth in Detroit. Our program will include:
11:00am-12:00pm: Welcome and lunch provided by Taste of Love.
12:00pm-12:15pm: Program introduction by BAI Program Manager, Karilú Alarcón Forshee.
12:15pm-1:00pm: Worksite insights with 2024 BAI worksite supervisors Mav Vasquez and Matt VanGilder (Motor City Street Dance Academy), Rebecca Gillespie (Hannan Center), and Olga Liskiwskyi (Ukrainian American Museum & Archives).
1:00pm-1:45pm: Fireside chat with Elizabeth Moje, Dean of the University of Michigan Marsal Family School of Education.
1:45pm-2:00pm: Q&A and application launch.

Parking: Free and secure parking is available in the marked TechTown lot at the northeast corner of Cass and Amsterdam. If you see street parking, go ahead and snag it.
